After the program dedicated to the theological virtues, the Philatelic and Numismatic Office opens a four-year emissions of 200 Euro coin in gold dedicated to the cardinal virtues: prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance. 

The artistic achievement of this year's work of Mariangela Crisciotti. The obverse of the coin appears the Pope Francisco absorbed in prayer. On the reverse, a performance inspired by the designs calcográficos hundred engraver, Sanguinetti, who by diffuse and ancient iconography sees the personification of Prudence as a woman with her head covered by a helmet governing the right hand mirror which reflects and left the snake, coiled to the arm. The serpent is a symbol of wisdom that work against adversity, but also the logic and the time is renewed cyclically. The mirror is an attribute of the same virtue that puts the knowledge of himself as a preliminary condition for the achievement of good.
