Portuguese INCM last coin issued 2.5 euros the year with a dedication to the figure of the Ombudsman (Provedor), which this year marks 40 years since its inception on April 21, 1975.
The coin has two versions with the same design, in copper-nickel they can get their face value in Portugal or in the online shop of the INCM, and other minted in silver, and colored, at a higher price.

Not to be hard with this coin, but I think its design is really improved. The INCM think the level is falling too much and have to put the batteries. This coin is easy to be the winner of the Adolfo performing partner, Numismatic Blog, in choosing the ugliest currency issued during the year and a few days ago has launched its 2015 edition.
