Monday, March 31, the Spanish National Mint (FNMT-RCM) will issue an exclusive collection of commemorative coins entitled 2026 FIFA World Cup . This initiative is part of the official collector coin program promoted by FIFA and represents recognition of the quality and international prestige of the Spanish Royal Mint.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held for the first time in three countries—the United States, Canada, and Mexico—between June 11 and July 19, 2026, will also feature the participation of 48 national teams for the first time. To commemorate this historic event, the FNMT-RCM will issue three highly valuable numismatic coins: one silver coin and two gold coins.

10 euro silver coin

 This coin features a dynamic image of a soccer player in mid-play on its reverse. On the left, the face value (10 EURO) is indicated; on the right, a detail of the official branding and the Mint mark; and at the bottom, the official tournament logo. The legend: FIFA WORLD CUP 26™ appears in a circular motion across the top of the coin.

The obverse features the left profile portrait of His Majesty King Felipe VI, surrounded at the top by the inscription: FELIPE VI REY DE ESPAÑA and at the bottom, between two dots, the year of issue: 2025. The entire design is framed by a classic pearl beading.

100 euro gold coin

 

This coin stands out for its central image of a goalkeeper stopping a ball, which symbolically represents the globe. Above this scene appears a detail of the official branding, the tournament logo, and the mint mark. Across the bottom, two lines read: 100 EURO . To the left, in an ascending circular motion, the legend: 26 FIFA WORLD CUP™.

The obverse is identical to that of the silver coin: the portrait of King Felipe VI, accompanied by the usual legends and framed with pearl beading.

The most valuable piece in the collection features a soccer player kicking a ball. It is accompanied by a detail of the official branding, the tournament logo, and the Mint mark. On the left is the face value: 400 EURO , and in a circular downward direction, the legend: 26 FIFA WORLD CUP™. 

The obverse, like the other coins, features a portrait of His Majesty King Felipe VI, the year of issue 2025, and the classic pearl beading.
