The Italian IPZS has been in a hurry this year to issue the collector versions of the commemorative 2 euro coin 2018 dedicated to celebrate the "70th Anniversary of the Italian Constitution". It is the minted Flor de Cuño and Proof quality, leaving the circulation currency, which is distributed by the Italian banks in rolls, for a date not determined.
Under these lines we see the case and the coin in its Proof version, of which 6,000 pieces have been coined.
The coin represents Enrico De Nicola, provisional Head of the State, signing the act of promulgation of the Constitution of the Italian Republic, on December 27, 1947; to his right, the Head of Government Alcide De Gasperi; to his left, Umberto Terracini, President of the Italian Constituent Assembly. Above, the inscription «COSTITUZIONE» and the monogram of the Italian Republic «RI»; in relief, the inscription «WITH SICURA COSCIENZA», «R», the mintmark of the mint of Rome, and the dates «1948 • 2018», year of entry into force of the Italian Constitution and year of issue of the currency, respectively.
The 15,000 coins in Flor de Cuño version are presented in a coincard. The total volume of emission is 4 million pieces.
