If yesterday we knew the design of the commemorative 2-euro coin that Slovenia will issue in 2018, which as you know came out of a public contest, today we will know the one chosen for the 3 euro bimetallic that has also come out of competition, this to commemorate the "100 Years of the end of the First World War ".
For this contest were 16 designs submitted, I show the winning design that will be coined in the coins and the other two finalists.

It should be noted that Slovenia tried, in fact, consulted with the European Commission, so that the 2 euro commemorative coin of 2018 was devoted to this topic. After the refusal of the European authorities, it was decided to issue as a collection currency with a face of 3 euros, having liberatory power only within the issuing country. For this type of currencies it is not necessary to have the approval of Europe.
