This morning I received official information from San Marino on the second 2-euro commemorative coin of 2017 issued by this microstate, dedicated to the "International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development", declared by the UN for this 2017.





The design was commissioned by the Canadian artist Andrew Lewis for this theme, in order to promote a new mentality and encourage respect for tourists for the environment.

The UN General Assembly declared 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, with the intention of promoting this economic activity by raising awareness of the importance of promoting it and responsibly.
