The Bank of Ukraine issued on 20 June, two coins with face 2 and 5 Hryven struck one in alpaca and the other in silver, both with the same design, dedicated to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine, adopted on June 28, 1996 by its parliament.
On the front and above it represented the small National Emblem of Ukraine, with the inscription Ukraine, in the center, the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, framed by a floral ornament, the year of issue 2016; face value, either 2 or 5 Hryven and logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the back, in the middle is an open book with a sprig of viburnum, right inscription: 20 Years Constitution of Ukraine; left written articles of the Constitution of Ukraine appear.

Constitution of Ukraine
Until June 8, 1995, the supreme law of Ukraine was the establishment of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (approved in 1978, with numerous subsequent amendments). On June 8, 1995, President Leonid Kuchma and Oleksandr Moroz spokesman (acting on behalf of parliament) signed the Constitutional Agreement valid until the constitution is drafted.
The current constitution was adopted in the early morning at the parliamentary session of 27-28 June 1996, semi-officially it is known as "the constitutional night of 1996".
