A spectacular investment currency composed of one ounce of silver in which a leaping Puma is represented, has been presented by the Royal Canadian Mint at the World Money Fair 2016. Building on the success of the previous series of original investment coins, the Mint of Canada begins a new series of investment coins composed of one ounce of 99.99% pure silver in which predators are represented and it was presented at World Money Fair 2016 being held in Berlin.
"The Royal Canadian Mint is proud to produce these coins investment notable for their purity and unprecedented security against counterfeiting, as well as its typical Canadian character," said Sandra L. Hanington, president of the Royal Canadian Mint. "By issuing these new bullion coins, the Mint shows that it is possible to know symbols of Canada, which in turn represent a symbol of excellence for precious metals investors worldwide."
With the image of a puma, the piece dated 2016 is the first in a new series of four coins investment one ounce of 99.99% pure silver which illustrate some of the most impressive predators in Canada. A fearsome puma a formidable leap out against a background decorated with radials stored with high accuracy. Realistic illustration is a work of the acclaimed Canadian artist Emily Damstra. The minting of each of the silver coins of this new series will be limited to one million copies.
For those who are not really put on this type of coin, I'm one of them, say that is not expensive, I just saw some already on sale for just over 20 euros. As for size, say they are very large coins have 38 mm in diameter, to give you an idea, the Spanish 30 euros are 33 mm.
