Continuing with the series on Architectural Monuments of Ukraine, the Bank of Ukraine issued on 18 September, two coins with facials of 5 and 10 hryven minted one in alpaca and the other in silver, both with the same design, dedicated to the Church of Santa Catalina, located in the city of Chernihiv.
On the back of the coin is represented the Church of Santa Catalina (in a bird's eye view), on the right is the coat of arms of the city, below and in Ukrainian the texts "Chernihiv - Church of Santa Catalina" .
The obverse shows on a cross-shaped background, present in the main façade of the church, the coat of arms of the Lizogubs, since it was built with funds of the brothers James and Simeón Lizogubs. As is customary in all Ukrainian currencies, the national coat of arms of Ukraine, the year of issue, the face value and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine are also represented.
