I bring you news about the issue of one of the two commemorative 2 euro coins that Belgium will issue in 2017, specifically the one dedicated to the "200 Years of the University of Liège". The novelties are not good for our pockets since the currency will not go to circulation, that is, will not be distributed in rolls. To get it we will have to acquire some of the coincards (above we will have two classes), or the portfolio with the rest of circulation values, which presumably will also contain the other commemorative dedicated to the University of Ghent. As I said, the issue is 200,000 coins that can be acquired in any of the following ways:
Coincard French version (87,500 units)
Coincard Dutch version (87,500 units)

Proof version in case (5,000 units)

The 20,000 that we lack until completing the 200,000 that make up the issue, will come out in a portfolio, of which we have no image.
The date announced by some vendors for coincards and proof currency is April 24.
And eye, although nothing is known, do not rule out that the second commemorative dedicated to the University of Ghent, is issued in the same way.
