Două noi monede comemorative finlandeze - 04.03.2016

They just make themselves known why the two commemorative 2-euro coins issued in Finland this 2016. One will be dedicated to the centenary of the birth of the Finnish philosopher von Wright. The other writer, poet and journalist Finnish Eino Leino which met 90 years after his death.

It is known that both currencies will have an issue volume of 1 million pieces, but nothing about dates or which of them will be issued first.

Henrik von Wright was born Georg in Helsinki on June 14, 1916 and died in that same city on June 16, 2003, at the age of 87 years. He was a philosopher and a sense of enormous influence, which contributed to the conceptual clarification of a number of philosophical problems, while an intellectual and deep essayist, who in his determination to not give in to dogmatism submitted for review again and again the cultural assumptions of our way of seeing the world.

Armas Einar Leopold Lönnbohm (July 6, 1878, Paltamo - January 10, 1926, Tuusula) that as a writer used the name Eino Leino was a universal talent in literature. He wrote poems, plays and prose, and as a translator poured into Finnish works of world literature, among other things, Dante. He was also a journalist, who actively expressed their opinions both in terms of art and political issues of his time. During his lifetime, the Finnish state awarded him no less than eight times the National Prize for Literature.

Day July 6 is the day of Eino Leino in Finland and the flag is raised in his honor.
