As I said a few days ago, on December 16 BU and Proof versions of the two coins of 2 euros commemorative Greece 2016 coins for circulation are confirmed by the Greek Ministry of Finance distribution in banks issued 21 from December. Today we know the coin dedicated to the "120 Years of Birth of Dimitri Mitropoulos'.
The issue volume for the currency is 750,000 pieces, broken down as follows: 742,000 in rolls distributed by banks, as BU 6,500 in a purse and 1,500 in Proof quality presented in a case.
The main reason represented in the coin shows a portrait of Dimitri Mitropoulos on a background of musical notes. Inscribed on the left inner edge of the text "120 YEARS OF THE BIRTH OF Dimitri Mitropoulos" and "HELLENIC REPUBLIC" appears in Greek. In the upper left is the year of issue "2016" and a cane (the mintmark of the House of Greek currency). In the lower right of the monogram of the artist (Georgios Stamatopoulos) is appreciated.
