O nouă monedă comemorativă spaniolă - 29.10.2016

This year the National Mint and Stamp Series IV issues the coin collection called "Treasures of Spanish Museums" in which emblematic pieces of the Museums of our country are played. All parts correspond to paintings by the artist Jheronimus Bosch, known as El Bosco. A total of four coins; a circular piece, a square piece and two rectangular pieces.

Just over two months ago I showed the three together make a painting, the triptych entitled "The Garden of Earthly Delights." Today we will see the fourth with 400 euros facial completes the issue will be put on sale during the month of November.





The obverse reproduces a detail of the work entitled "The Hay Wain", made around 1515 by Hieronymus Bosch van Aeken, the Bosco, which this year the V centenary of his death is commemorated. The work is preserved in the Prado Museum in Madrid.On the left, in a circular upward and capitalization, SPAIN legend; right, horizontally, the year of issue 2016. Surrounds the reasons and legends one pearl beading and pine nuts interrupted in the upper right side by a sector, within which appears, in a circular downward and in capital letters, the legend THE BOSCO.




In the reverse depicts a detail of the work entitled "The Temptations of San Antonio Abad", made around 1490 by Hieronymus Bosch van Aeken, the Bosco, preserved in the Prado Museum in Madrid. On the left, horizontally, into two lines and capitalized, the value of the piece, 400 EURO; to the right, the mint mark. The reasons and legends surrounding one pearl beading and pine nuts interrupted in the top center of the coin for a sector within which appears in a circular motion and in capital letters, the legend SPANISH TREASURES OF MUSEUMS.

This currency can be sold separately from the other three that make up the issuance of Series IV Treasures of Spanish Museums. The maximum volume of this piece is emission of 1,500 units, the price € 1,340.
