Restaurarea colecţiei de ceasuri a Muzeului Brukenthal

Peste 20 de piese din colecţia de ceasuri a muzeului (ceasuri de buzunar, de birou şi cu pendul, sec. XVI – XIX) au fost restaurate în ultimii ani de echipa laboratorului Restaurare Metale – Dorin Barbu, Călin Bobic şi Ioan Brai. O parte dintre aceste piese pot fi văzute deja în expoziţia permanentă din Palatul Brukenthal, altele în expoziţia temporară „Magia Restaurării”, constituind premiere expoziţionale.

The restoration of clocks and watches collection of Brukenthal Museum
More than 20 pieces in the Museum’s collection of clocks and watches (pocket watches, pendulum clocks and clocks, 16th – 19th c.) were restored in the last years by the team of Metal Restoration laboratory – Dorin Barbu, Călin Bobic and Ioan Brai. Some of the pieces can be admired in the permanent exhibition in Brukenthal Palace or in “The Magic of Restoration” temporary exhibition, all being exhibited for the first time.
