7. Rudolf II Taler 1599-NB MS62 NGC, Nagybanya mint (in Transylvania)

Rudolf II Taler 1599-NB MS62 NGC, Nagybanya mint (in Transylvania), KM-MB297, Dav-8069, Husz-1038. Exhibiting gleaming mint luster uniformly expressed against an appealing orange-gold tone. A couple of die breaks are noted on the obverse, including a larger one within the amber-tinged lower legends near 6 o'clock. Evidence of fresh die polish lends this emission from the waning days of the 16th century an exhilarating mint fresh appearance.

Ex. Cape Coral Collection (Heritage Auctions #3089 , January 2021, Lot 30105)

Metal: Gold

9. Gabriel Bethlen Taler 1629-NB XF40 NGC, Nagybanya mint

Gabriel Bethlen Taler 1629-NB XF40 NGC, Nagybanya mint, KM204, Dav-4724, Resch-510. This is the scarcer date of the two-year type. There is a lovely cabinet patina and an intriguing shadow effect across some of the devices and legends because of a likely double-strike. The wear is in line with the assigned grade, though the overall presentation retains a pleasing appearance.

Metal: Silver
