Carol I gold 100 Lei 1906-(b) UNC Details (Reverse Cleaned) NGC, Brussels mint, KM40, Fr-4, Stamb-67. Commemorating the 40th anniversary of Carol I's reign. A rather good-looking example for this one-year type, bestowed with a crisp strike and attractive mint luster to the protected areas. A localized area of parallel lines presumably noted by the conditional modifier can be observed near the sitter's chin on reverse, rather inconsequential as a whole.

Produced to commemorate the coronation of Ferdinand I, and featuring the crowned busts of the new King and Queen Marie. With a charming but rather low-relief design; this particular example showcases bright yellow luster but also some noticeable chatter in the fields, hence the AU grade.

Dated 1922, but struck posthumously in 1928 and 1929 following a 1927 decree to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the King's coronation. Difficult to source at any stage of preservation, more affordable here but still quite appealing, conveying inviting luster and ample remaining detail.

A fascinating large-size pattern issue featuring imposing, life-like design motifs. The gilt finish is bright and undisturbed except for a light, dusty layer of wholesome patination.

A scarce gilt-copper pattern striking of the large-size gold type of the same design. A light layer of frost and beautifully expressive designs make this a highly appealing offering.
