VAS ASKOS

În expoziția de arheologie a Muzeului Județean Olt este expus un vas de tip askos, descoperit la Drăgănești-Olt, realizat din lut, modelat cu mâna; are o toartă care pornește din buză și ajunge până la umăr; corpul este alungit, iar gura este ovală și înclinată; baza vasului este aproximativ circulară. Dimensiuni: L = 170 mm; H = 127 mm; Dgură = 86 x 73 mm.
Context: Drăgănești-Olt; 1990; S III; c. 4; - 1,10 m.
Datare: Eneolitic, cultura Sălcuța (mileniul IV a.Chr.).

ASKOS VESSEL
In the archeology exhibition of the Olt County Museum, an askos-type vessel, discovered at Drăgănești-Olt, made of clay, modeled by hand, is exhibited; it has a tuft that starts from the lip and reaches to the shoulder of the vessel; the body is elongated and the mouth is oval and inclined; the base of the bowl is approximate circular. Archaeological context: Drăgănești-Olt; 1990; S III; q. 4; - 1.10 m.
Dating: Eneolithic, Sălcuța culture (4th millenium BC).
