The next coin issued by Ukraine will be on May 30 and will be dedicated to the Ukrainian politician and aristocrat Pavlo Skoropadskii, who is celebrating the 150th anniversary of his birth.
Descendant of a Cossack family, Pavlo Skoropadskyi, after coming to power, made solving the state's economic and financial problems one of his priorities, introduced agrarian reforms, strengthened the Ukrainian state armed forces and made important achievements in the field of national and cultural policy: contributed to the creation of a number of national and state scientific, cultural and educational institutions in Ukraine. In less than eight months, there have been significant changes in the organization of economic life and financial recovery. The "Letter to the All Ukrainian People" of April 29, 1918 proclaimed that private property rights, as the foundation of culture and civilization, were fully restored.
On the obverse of the coin are: on a mirror background, at the bottom, the small emblem of the State of Ukraine and the inscription UKRAINE; on the right, the year of minting 2023; in the center, above a stylized rainbow of flags, a triangle (cartoon by Heorhiy Narbut), a symbol of a certain cultural and economic prosperity of the Ukrainian state during the Skoropadskyi Hetmanate, framed by the inscriptions: UKRAINISATION (top), EDUCATION, HRYVNIA (on Both Sides); Above is the denomination 2 and the graphic sign of the grivna; below, the mark of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (left).
