One of the 2 euro commemorative coins that we may consider difficult to obtain in 2021 has just been put on sale. It is the one dedicated to the «Centenary of the constitution of the Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Union (BLEU)». The national side of the coin features the effigy of King Philippe of Belgium together with that of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg. To the right are the outlines of the two countries, Belgium and Luxembourg, together with the initials of both countries “BE” and “LUX”, and in a vertical line the commemorative legend in English “ECONOMIC UNION”. While below the effigies appear the year of the Union "1921" and the year of minting "2021", as well as the mark of the director of the Belgian mint, Ingrid Herzele (the coat of arms of the municipality of Herzele), and that of the Holland mint in Utrecht (the caduceus of Mercury). Also below but to the right are the initials "LL" of the designer of the Monnaie Royal de Belgique, Luc Luycx.
