For the most demanding, I announce that next Monday, March 16, the Spanish commemorative 2020 Euro 2 coin will be for sale in Proof quality, currency that continues with the series destined to commemorate goods and places included in the list of Heritage UNESCO World Cup, this is the eleventh with a dedication to the "Mudejar Architecture of Aragon", in which it represents "The Tower of El Salvador de Teruel".

 

The coin shows the image of the tower of El Salvador de Teruel. On the left side, in capital letters, the inscription "SPAIN" appears, on the right side, the mint mark and, below, the year of issue, 2020. On the top of the inner circle, in a circular and uppercase direction , it reads "MUDÉJAR DE ARAGÓN ARCHITECTURE".

The development in the 12th century of Mudejar art in Aragon was the result of the particular political, social and cultural conditions that prevailed in Spain after the Reconquest. This art, influenced by Islamic tradition, also reflects several contemporary European styles, particularly Gothic. Present until the beginning of the 17th century, it is characterized by an extremely refined use of brick and tiles in architecture, especially in bell towers.

 

The currency in Proof quality is presented in an elegant numbered carton, from which a maximum of 5,000 units are issued. The recommended retail price is € 23.
