The Italian Mint, Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, will issue, on February 20, its first coin of 2024, this copper coin with a face of 5 euros, is issued under the name "Italian Capitals of Culture - Pesaro ».
The city of Pesaro is known for being the birthplace of Gioacchino Rossini, one of the most famous opera composers of all time, and annually hosts the Rossini Opera Festival, one of the most important opera festivals in Europe.
