The last issue of Russian coins of the year 2017 has as protagonists series and animated films produced in Russia. These drawings, that I know, have not come to Spain and the truth is quite curious, at least for me. For example, I did not know that in Russia they have their own version of Winnie the Pooh, in which the silhouettes of their characters do not resemble anything we know in the West. They also have characters known as the "Three Heroes" that triumph on the big screen.

There are two coins in this series dedicated to "Russian Animation", although each one can be obtained in four versions, two in base metal, one colored and the other not, and other two in silver, with or without color, all They have a facial of 25 rubles. The information and images that I offer correspond to those issued in base metal (cuproniquel).

Three Heroes

The reverse of the coin shows the relief images of the characters in the animated films "Three Heroes" in the foreground, with an old city in the background. Above, along the edge, the inscription "ТРИ БОГАТЫРЯ" (THREE HEROES).

Winnie the Pooh

The back of the coin shows an image in relief of the characters of the animated film "Winnie the Pooh", in which they cross a bridge over a river, surrounded by trees and bushes. up along the edge, the inscription "ВИННИ ПУХ" (WINNIE THE POOH).

The obverse, common to all coins, shows an embossed image of the coat of arms of the Russian Federation, the inscription in a semicircle "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (Russian Federation). Below the inscriptions in three lines: "БАНК РОССИИ" (Bank of Russia), the value of the currency "25 РУБЛЕЙ" (25 RUBLES), the year "2017". The mint mark is shown on the right.
