The Bank of Russia has issued a commemorative silver coin with a face value of 2 rubles, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Russian financier and statesman Yevgeny Ivanovich Lamansky (1825–1902). This numismatic piece celebrates Lamansky's fundamental contribution to the creation of the national banking system and the economic development of Russia during the period of the Great Reforms.

Coin design

Obverse

The obverse features a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation. At the top, along the edge, is the semicircular inscription "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (Russian Federation), framed by double diamonds on either side.
Below the coat of arms are, on the left, the chemical symbol and the metal's fineness; on the right, the fine metal content and the mint mark.
In the lower center, in three lines, are the inscriptions "БАНК РОССИИ" (Bank of Russia), "2 РУБЛЯ" (2 rubles), and "2025 г." (2025).

Reverse

The reverse features a relief portrait of Yevgeny Lamansky, against a background that displays, with a matte laser treatment, images of the State Bank of the Russian Empire and banknotes issued during his tenure as governor.
To the right, around the circumference, appears the inscription "Е.И. ЛАМАНСКИЙ" (E.I. Lamansky), and to the left, in two lines, the years of his life: "1825–1902".
