I found out some time ago that the Bank of Hungary, Magyar Nemzeti Bank's, issues some very interesting coins. Very attractive designs and themes, together with very reasonable prices, because they have the good habit that almost all their issues have two versions for the same coin, one in silver and the other in cupronickel.
Another thing that they do very well is that they publish their numismatic program for each year before it starts, the one for 2023 was already available in December 2022. In the program we can see information on all the coins that they are going to issue and what is most importantly, with the sketches of the design of each coin. The price at which each coin will be put up for sale is very easy to know, since it is usually linked to the face of the coin, we convert from guilders to euros and we have the approximate sale price, of course.
Another curiosity of their numismatic program that they present in a catalog is that it is constantly updated, every time they issue a new coin, they replace the sketch with the real image of the coin.
I leave you the 2023 Numismatic Program and you will see that of the first coin already issued, in a few days the sketch will be replaced by the real image of the coin. At the end of the year we will have a nice catalogue, which we can save and even print if we want.
