For next May 6, the Bank of Estonia plans to issue a new collector's coin minted in silver, which will be dedicated to Estonian athletes and their participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Let us remember that the Bank of Estonia already has a long tradition in issuing collector coins related to the Olympic Games, since since 1992 it has issued a total of 12 coins related to this theme.
The silver coin designed by Liis Dvorjanski shows still iridescent light and a glow in the sky, forming the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower. The sun disk, a symbol of vital energy, appears at the top, guiding the athletes towards their goal of winning a medal. The face value “€10” also appears in the composition.
On the other hand, the stylized piece with various parallel lines presents, in the center, the coat of arms of Estonia, and below it the inscription of the name of the issuing country "EESTI VABARIIK" (REPUBLIC OF ESTONIA) and the year of issue "2024 ».
This collector's coin, minted in silver and with a face value of 10 euros, has been minted by the Lithuanian Mint and will have a maximum circulation of 4,000 units.
