Today on the International Day of Democracy we are given the opportunity to review the state of democracy in the world and reflect on progress over time. In 2015, the Mint released a silver rectangular coin celebrating the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta - the foundation document of constitutional law and democracy - remembering this as one of the most important documents in human history.
