As I 'm sure you recall, Germany issued in the 2016 a coin of 5 euros called Planet Earth , currency was presented as a world first by being the first to use polymer, separating it the outer ring of the core. It was announced that this would be the first of a series of innovative currencies. Today the German Finance Ministry announces the following coins of this type to be issued between the years 2017-2021.
Under the same name, Planet Earth, although I guess with different design, over the next 5 years will be issued as many coins, which will be dedicated each to the different climate zones that exist on our planet: Tropical, Subtropical Temperate, Subpolar and Polar. Each will feature the famous ring in a different color, and each mint will have a different tone color, like this year.

2020 | subpolar zone | Turquoise |
2021 | Polar zone | Violet |
