As the title of this entry "Fauna in cultural monuments of Ukraine" is called the new series of coins issued on 9 November by the Bank of Ukraine. The first three pieces of the series, of great beauty, have facials of 5 hryven and are minted in 925 silver of purity.
The Deer, The Wolf and the Peacock are the first three animals represented, in which on their obverse is represented in gold a monument, piece or historical engraving dedicated to the animal, always located or discovered in Ukraine. On the reverse we see a characteristic image of the animal.

The golden fragment is a dove in the shape of a deer that comes from a tomb found in Tovsta Mohyla, dated in the fourth century BC. On the right is the complete grip.
The wolf
The golden fragment in relief represents two fighting wolves engraved on a ritón, which we can see on the right, (antique vessel used to drink, or to pour a liquid in some ceremony). This was found in the Tomb of the Black in the city of Chernihiv, (dating back to the tenth century BC).
The peacock
The Golden Fragment corresponds to a miniature of the collection Sviatoslav`s, present in texts that go back to 1073. In the background we see the whole image where the represented miniature appears.
