On July 7 Luxembourg issues a bimetallic coin collection, with facial 2.5 euros, issued on an alloy of gold and silver Nordic 925, commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the Museum of Modern Art Grand Duke Jean (MUDAM). 2,500 coins with which counts as circulation have been minted by the Polish Mennika Polska, with an unconventional way.The selling price in the online shop of the Central Bank of Luxembourg is 55 euros plus shipping.
The reverse of the coin shows an image of the facade of the museum building.
The obverse shows the image of an old acquaintance for those who collect euros, Grand Duke Jean.

The Museum of Modern Art Grand Duke Jean, located south of Luxembourg, in the district of Kirchberg, was inaugurated on July 1, 2006 by Grand Duke Jean, whom the building is dedicated and opened to the public the next day since then he has been exposing inside large samples of contemporary art. The building was designed by Pritzker Prize winner, American architect Ieoh Ming Pei Chinese origin, and is directed by Enrico Lunghi.
