The FNMT issued on 13 June 2 coins collection allusive to the "V Centenary of the Death of Ferdinand II of Aragon 1516-2016". The coins are minted in silver, which has 10 facial euros, gold and 100 euros.

On the obverse a portrait of Ferdinand II of Aragon preserved in the Naval Museum in Madrid is playing. On the right, uppercase and descending circular direction, the legend SPAIN; below, horizontally, the year of issue 2016. Surrounds the reasons and legends one pearl beading.
On the back the shield of King Ferdinand II of Aragon which can be seen in the roof of the first Hall of Lost Steps of the Palace of the Aljafería of Zaragoza played. On the left, in two lines and capitalized, the value of the coin 10 EURO; below, the mint mark. At the top of the coin, in a circular motion and in capital letters, the legend Ferdinand II of Aragon. At the bottom of the coin, in a circular and separated by a hyphen, the years 1516 and 2016. Surrounds the reasons and legends one pearl beading.
