La Monnaie de Paris issued next September 12th his second commemorative 2-euro coin in this 2016, we already know its design, with a dedication to François Mitterrand, to mark the centenary of his birth and 20 years since his death.

The coin shows the image of François Mitterrand taken during the filming of the documentary "François Mitterrand: Conversations avec un Président" that led by Jean-Pierre Elkabbach was recorded in five sessions between March 1993 and June 1994 for the television channel France 2 .
On the right, in the background, the coat of arms of the Mitterrand family appears.
At the bottom of the picture the initials of the issuing country "RF" (French Republic) are inscribed. Also on the right, just below the tree include the brands of the French Mint (cornucopia) and its director, Yves Sampo (Pentagon with GAMP-YS initials). While the left, vertically do the years of commemoration "1916" and issue "2016". At the top, in an arched line that conforms to the outer edge of the core of the coin, appears the legend "François Mitterrand".

As said earlier, the date of their entry into service is 12 September. By the time the volume of the issue is unknown.
