The second coin of 2 euro commemorative Belgium issued in this 2016 is dedicated to the International Day of the Disappeared Children, and it uses the Charitable Foundation Child Focus, an organization that works for children and young people missing or sexually exploited, as image with which to make visible this problem affecting our society.
The inner part of the coin shows in the center the face of a child surrounded by the inscription "MISSING-DISPARU-Vermist", "WWW.CHILDFOCUS.BE" and the trilingual indication of nationality "BELGIQUE-BELGIE-BELGIEN 'followed 2016. the mintmark of Brussels a helmeted head of St. Michael the Archangel and mark the curator of the coin depicts the left and right of the face, respectively.
The issue volume for this coin is 1,020,000 pieces, of which 20,000 will be issued in proof quality. The issue date is scheduled for May, possibly on 25 so as to coincide with the International Day of the Disappeared Children held on that date.
