The Bank of Slovakia announces the issuance of its commemorative 2 euro coin 2019 for the next day April 25. Under the theme «Centennial of the Death of Milan Rastislav Štefánik», famous for being one of the promoters of the Czechoslovak Independent State, 1 million pieces have been minted, based on a design made by Peter Valach.
The design shows Milan Rastislav Štefánik in military uniform, surrounded by his name the years in which he lived 1880 - 1919, the name of the issuing country, Slovakia, and the year of issue 2019.
Also, the same day, a coin in silver with a face of 10 euros dedicated to the same theme is issued.
