Within the framework of an unpublished project promoted in collaboration with the municipality of Setúbal, which aims to stimulate artistic and numismatic creation among young people and the school community, the INCM coined a coin bearing the theme "The Future" that was designed by the young Martim Estanislao, winner of the 1st edition of the competition "Diseña la Moneda", which had the participation of more than 800 students of the 2nd and 3rd Setubal.
Through the simple and innocent trace of a child, the coin shows, on the back, a past characterized by wars and deaths and, on the obverse, a future without wars, with peace, freedom and equality for all.

This coin with facial of 5 euros can be obtained in the ICNM store in two versions with the same design. A silver coin with notes of color and the one that can be obtained at face value, in cupronickel.
