One of the coins had a priori a reason that could lead to a design that was created enough excitement among collectors, so unusual in the numismatic world, it is announced by San Marino for the year 2016 coinciding with the 35 First anniversary of the San Marino Grand Prix Formula 1. The first edition of the San Marino Grand Prix F1 held in 1981 in Imola (Bologna) winner having Brazilian driver Nelson Piquet. 35 years later, the Numismatic Office of San Marino celebrates this anniversary with a collector coin 10 euro silver, designed by Matt Bonaccorsi, depicting a driver at the wheel of an F1 car.

Features of the coin
Name and recommended price: € 10 (37 €)
Metal: Silver 925
Weight: 22 g
Diameter: 34 mm
Volume and issue date: 4000 pieces / April 29
The first impression caused me the coin, on its back, is quite poor. I see a little elaborate design, with a loose engraving, which also has no details. A missed opportunity for an issue that could have given more of himself.
