Commemorating the 125th anniversary of the birth of German painter Otto Dix, on November 3 issued in Germany a coin in his honor with facial 20 euro, currency which can be purchased at face value in the BU version (brilliant uncirculated).
The reverse shows the image of Otto Dix itself forming a collage with a fragment of one of his works and his signature. In the lower semicircle inscription "125th Anniversary Otto Dix" in German shows.
The obverse shows the eagle symbol of the German state, the words "Bundesrepublik Deutschland" (Federal Republic of Germany) and six stars on each side, the face value "20 Euro" and the year of issue "2016" in addition to the metal on which it is coined "Silber 925" (925).
20 Euro coins are minted in Germany two grades, BU and Proof, both in 925, with the remainder copper. BU quality coins are available at face value, while the Proof has a higher price.
