Among the new coin issues announced by the Vatican State Mint for next December 19, we are going to see today two pieces, a 20-euro copper with face belonging to the “Art and Faith” series, and the other in gold with a face value of 200 euros that begins the series “Towards the Holy Year 2025”.Coin 20 euros – Art and Faith
The 20-euro copper coin dedicated to the “Art and Faith” series is enriched this year with a detail of the dome of Saint Peter's Basilica. The artist Cristina De Giorgi has reproduced on the reverse of the coin the upper elevation of the Basilica's façade, where we can admire the dome in all its majesty. On both sides we see the two smaller domes and the 13 statues that adorn the balustrade above the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica.

Coin 200 euros – Towards the Holy Year 2025
The series of 200-euro gold coins called “Towards the Holy Year 2025” begins this year and consists of a three-year program (2022-2023-2024) that will culminate in 2025 with the last coin dedicated to the Jubilee.
