The new 30-euro coin issued by the National Currency and Stamp Factory, the second of this 2018, will have a very special protagonist, Princess Leonor, who at 12 will be represented for the first time in one currency. The reason for which the coin will be dedicated is the "1300th anniversary of the Kingdom of Asturias" and Leonor as Princess of Asturias will share the obverse of the coin with her father King Felipe VI. It is expected that it can be acquired from October 22, although since next Monday it can already be booked at banks.
On the obverse are reproduced the effigies of His Majesty the King Don Felipe VI and His Royal Highness the Princess of Asturias, Doña Leonor de Borbón y Ortiz. Circling the effigies appears the legend FELIPE VI AND LEONOR PRINCESS OF ASTURIAS, between two points and in capital letters. In the lower part of the coin, the legend SPAIN 2018, separated by a point. Surrounding the motives and legends one pearl beading.
On the back is reproduced, in colors, the coat of arms of the Principality of Asturias on a ribbon with the colors of the Spanish flag. On the right, the mint mark. On the left, in the upper part, there is a circle that contains, in the form of a four-latent latent image, a schematic Cross of Asturias, the mint mark, a royal crown and the number 18; in the lower part, in two lines and in capital letters, the value of the 30 EURO piece.
