Paul E. Michelson is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of History at Huntington University in Indiana USA. A student of 19th-21st Century European history with a specialty in Romania, he has a Ph.D from Indiana University in Southeast European, Russian, and Modern European history, and was a three-time Fulbright/IREX fellow to Romania. He served as President of the Society for Romanian Studies and is an honorary member of the Institutes of History at București, Iași, and Cluj. His book on Prince Cuza and Prince Carol won the Bălcescu Prize of the Romanian Academy. He is currently working on a study of Romanian historiography.

Idei în Agora este un program dedicat analizei spiritului public. A fost inițiat în 2017 de Sorin Antohi și este susținut de Adrian Majuru. Realizat de Muzeul Municipiului București, în parteneriat cu Asociația Orbis Tertius / A Treia Lume. Întâlnirile au formate diferite și propun un dialog între curente, mișcări, personalități, viziuni despre lume, teorii, ideologii.
