 The Vatican City State Mint presents Coincard No. 14, a laminated card that represents the Holy Father and contains a 50 euro cent coin dated 2023.

20 euro copper coin – Art and Faith: Creation of Man by Michelangelo

The Vatican Mint continues the “Art and Faith” series by dedicating its next 20 euro copper coin to Michelangelo's Creation of Man.

The artist Antonella Napolione reproduces on the reverse of the coin one of the most appreciated and well-known paintings in the world: The Creation of Adam. This fresco was made by Michelangelo Buonarroti around 1511 and is part of the Sistine Chapel vault. Adam, lying on the ground, looks towards the Creator, extending his left hand towards Him. God, suspended in a cloud, extends his right hand towards Adam, in the act of giving him life.
