LAMPĂ (OPAIȚ)
În expoziția de arheologie a Muzeului Județean Olt se păstrează un opaiț rar, descoperit la Acidava (Dacia Inferior / Enoșești - Piatra Olt, jud. Olt) în anul 1999. Corpul este rotund, discul este concav, baza este plată și este prevăzut cu trei ciocuri, cu orificii de ardere relativ înguste; culoare cărămizie; lipsește toarta. Restaurare: Ion Marinică.
Dimensiuni: L = 81,6 mm; l = 84,5 mm; H = 30,7 mm.
Context: Acidava 1999, S V, c. 9, -0,60 m.
Datare: prima jumătate a secolului al III-lea p. Chr.

THE OBJECT OF THE WEEK
LAMP
In the archeology exhibition of the Olt County Museum, a rare lamp is preserved, discovered in Acidava (Lower Dacia / Enoșești - Piatra Olt town, Olt county, Romania) in 1999. The body is circular, the disk is concave, the base is flat and it is equipped with three short beaks, with relatively narrow combustion holes; brick-red color; the handle is missing. Restoration: Ion Marinică.
Dimensions: L = 81.6 mm; W = 84.5 mm; H = 30.7 mm.
Archaeological context: Acidava 1999, section V, square 9, -0,60 m.
Dating: the first half of the 3rd century AD.
