VASUL-CUPTOR DE TIP „PYRAUNOS”
Vas de mari dimensiuni (H = 54 cm; Dgură = 33 cm), din epoca bronzului, considerat de speciliaști ca fiind un vas pentru gătit portabil, sau o vatră portabilă. Este compus dintr-un recipient de mari dimensiuni, dedesubtul căruia este atașată o „cameră de ardere”. Este prevăzut cu două toarte și doi butoni, dedesubtul cărora se află șase perforații. Decorul este simplu, compus dintr-un brâu alveolat atașat pe buză și un alt brâu alveolat atașat la bază. Deasupra camerei de ardere se află două perforații de mici dimensiuni, cu rol decorativ. Forma exterioară a vasului este bitronconică, iar la interior recipientul este tronconic (oală).
Vasul a fost descoperit la Slatina - Spital, în anul 1995 și reprezintă una din principalele atracții pentru publicul vizitator.

THE OBJECT OF THE WEEK
„PYRAUNOS” TYPE FURNACE VESSEL
Large vessel (H. = 54 cm; L.D. = 33 cm), from the Bronze Age, considered by specialists to be a vessel for portable cooking, or a portable hearth. It consists of a large vessel, below which is attached "combustion chamber". It is provided with studs and that below two buttons there are six perforations. The decoration is simple, consisting of a applied coils to the lip and another coils attached to the base. Above the "combustion chamber" there are two small perforations, with a decorative role. The outer shape of the vessel is bitronconic, and the inside of the container is tronconic (pot).
The vessel was discovered in Slatina - Hospital, in 1995 and it's one of the main attractions for the visiting public.
