O nouă monedă comemorativă din Ucraina - 03.10.2022

As of today, October 3, a new 10 hryvnia coin is circulating in Ukraine with which the aim is to praise and thank the effort being made by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, even more so at these key moments for the country's future.

This new currency is dedicated to a special type of forces within the Armed Forces, the «Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine», these are responsible for the organization, preparation and execution of defense tasks in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On the foundations of national resistance». 

On the reverse of the coins two stylized figures of military personnel are depicted, to the left of which is the logo of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; inscriptions around the circle: READY FOR RESISTANCE (top), TERRITORIAL DEFENSE FORCES OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE (bottom).

On the obverse of the coins the Coat of Arms of the State of Ukraine is shown at the top, in the center, within an ornamental frame, the inscription: UKRANIA/10/ GRIVNAS (in a semicircle), at the bottom the year of minting of the coin, 2022, and on the right the mark of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
