Topor de piatră în curs de prelucrare
În colecțiile Muzeului Județean Olt se păstrează un topor de luptă realizat din piatră, care datează din epoca bronzului, având perforația în curs de prelucrare, descoperit la Comănița, jud. Olt și donat în anul 1977 de Școala Generală din localitate. Dimensiunile sunt următoarele: L = 73,5 mm, l = 41,7 mm și Gr = 25,7 mm. Prelucrarea unui astfel de topor dura foarte mult timp, având în vedere „tehnologia” de prelucrare a pietrei de la momentul respectiv și mai ales faptul că este realizat dintr-o rocă foarte dură, probabil de origine vulcanică. S-a încercat perforarea toporului pe ambele părți, însă operațiunea nu a fost finalizată, rămânând la latitudinea cititorului să interpreteze ce s-a întâmplat în momentul prelucrării sale.

Stone ax under processing
In the collections of the Olt County Museum (Romania) there is a battle ax made of stone, dating from the Bronze Age, having the perforation being processed, discovered in Comănița, Olt County and donated in 1977 by the General School in the locality. The dimensions are as follows: lenght = 73.5 mm, width = 41.7 mm and tickness = 25.7 mm. The processing of such an ax took a very long time, given the "technology" of stone processing at that time and especially the fact that it is made of a very hard rock, probably of volcanic origin. An attempt was made to pierce the ax on both sides, but the operation was not completed, leaving it up to the reader to interpret what happened at the time of its processing.
