Together with coin 5 euros bimetallic Anniversary of Beethoven

 

It contains the eight regular 2020 values ​​plus a bimetallic 5 euro coin alluding to the "250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's birth".

On December 16, 1770, Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn, the Vatican celebrates the great German composer and pianist, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of his birth. An early talent of his, unfortunately not appreciated by an evil father who forced him to strenuous trials in order to sell him as a "child prodigy", and yet the passion and ardor with which young Ludwig spoke and defended the ideals of freedom and justice arising from the French Revolution were never extinguished, not even by the monstrosities of existence, nor by the hearing loss that affected him at thirty. 

 

 

The bimetallic coin of 5 euros, inserted in the euroset, and which will be available later in the Proof version, is the work of Orietta Rossi. The representation of the musician's face is inspired by the portrait of Ludwig van Beethoven performed by Joseph Karl Stieler in 1829, while the stave in the background is taken from the score of the famous composition "For Elisa", from 1810.
