A new coin of bimetallic type comes to replace the ticket of the same value, 20 floor, in the Philippines. This new coin ends by completing the new series of coins put into circulation last December 2018. At the same time the coin with a 5-floor facial has seen its shape change, being round now it has new sides, keeping his design.
The new currency retains the main elements of the 20 floor ticket. The obverse of the coin features Manuel L. Quezon, the first president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines who advocated the adoption of the national language, created the National Economic Council and worked hard for the independence of the Philippines.
The reverse shows, on the right side, the logo of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Palace of Malacañan, the official residence of the Philippine president. Manuel L. Quezon was the first Filipino president to occupy him during his tenure. On the left side is represented the Nilad, a typical bush of the Philippines, a plant from which it is believed that the name of the country's capital, Manila, originated. Similarly, it was said that the star-shaped flowers of the Nilad once grew in abundance along the banks of the Pasig River, where the Malacañan Palace is located.

The new 20 Floor coin will coexist with the ticket of the same value that is currently circulating, this will be phased out of circulation due to its natural wear.

The Central Bank of the Philippines has also issued at the same time an improved version of the 5-story coin that stands out because it now has nine sides to make it easier to distinguish from other denominations in the series.
