On Wednesday, July 10, the Bank of Lithuania put into circulation the 2-euro commemorative coin dedicated to the Sutartinés, Lithuanian chants to various voices played by women, which is celebrated in 2019 on the tenth anniversary of its declaration by Unesco as Intangible Cultural Heritage of The humanity.
The image shows a stylized composition in which three women appear in the center, the work of the Lithuanian painter Liudas Parulskis. The name of the issuing country, LIETUVA, the year of issue, 2019, and the reason for which the currency is dedicated, SUTARTINÉS, complete the design.
Like all 2 euro coins issued by Lithuania, they count on the inscription with the inscriptions LAISVĖ * VIENYBĖ * GEROVĖ (FREEDOM * UNIDAD * WELFARE).
The issue volume is 500,000 coins, of which 5,000 in BU quality have been issued in coincard at the price of € 9.
