The Bank of Kazakhstan begins issuing a new series of coins called "Flora and Fauna of Kazakhstan". A few days ago was issued the first of the series dedicated to the marten cibelina (m arts zibellina), a species of feline belonging to the family of weasels only found in Kazakhstan in the coniferous forests of Altai. This coin and all of the series will have two facials, 100 and 200 tenge, associated with two qualities, BU and Proof respectively.
On the reverse side of the coin is the image of a sable cibelina raised in the branches of a tree. Along the circumference appear the inscriptions "BYULNY" (common name with which it is known in the country), "MARTES ZIBELLINA" (the scientific name of the species) and the number "2018", which indicates the year of coinage.
On the obverse common to the entire series of coins is a stylized image of hands holding the planet Earth symbolizing respect for all its inhabitants. On the left the face value 100 tenge and the mark of the Kazakhstan Mint. Along the edge the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТТЫҚ BANKІІ • NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN".
The 100 tenge coin is presented in the portfolio you see above, although its circulation is only 30,000 copies, right now you can buy, as I have seen, for prices below 10 euros including shipping costs. I think that if you collect world currency, it is a good opportunity to buy now, later, taking into account your circulation, the price will be raised in total safety.
