Romfilatelia continuă seria de mărci poştale Colecţii româneşti prin tematica Platouri / Suporturi (I), fiind alcătuită din șase timbre și o coliță nedantelată, pe care sunt reprezentate trivete, denumire generică pentru a desemna suporturile cu mai mult de trei picioare, precum și pe cele cu picior și cu o bază, din secolele XIX-XX. Exponatele aparțin unei renumite colecții din București, cea mai mare din lume, certificată de Guiness World Records, în anul 2016.
Noua emisiune va fi disponibilă începând de joi, 29 martie 2018, în magazinele Romfilatelia din Bucureşti, Bacău, Braşov, Cluj-Napoca, Iaşi, Timişoara, precum şi în magazinul nostru online: http://romfilatelia.ro/store/.
Trivetele reprezintă acele obiecte care sunt folosite pentru protejarea suprafețelor împotriva deteriorărilor provocate de căldură, denumirea lor derivând de la numărul de picioare, cele mai multe dintre ele având trei. La începuturi, atunci când trivetele erau folosite pentru gătit pe foc deschis, cele cu trei picioare ofereau stabilitate pe un teren cu denivelări. În schimb, prezența a patru picioare sau a mai multora, precum și a unei singure baze cu un singur picior, necesitau o suprafață dreaptă, pentru ca obiectul așezat pe trivetă să nu se miște și să nu devină instabil.
Scopul trivetelor a fost diferit, în funcție de perioada în care acestea au fost folosite. Atunci când gătitul s-a mutat din spațiul deschis în spațiul închis, trivetele nu au mai fost folosite pentru a prepara mâncarea direct pe foc, ci pentru a proteja mesele, sau orice altă suprafață, de arsurile provocate de obiectele încinse.
Pe timbrul cu valoarea nominală de 2,20 lei este reprodus un suport fier de călcat.
Protecția pentru fier de călcat este ilustrată pe timbrul cu valoarea nominală de 2,50 lei.
Pe timbrul cu valoarea nominală de 2,70 lei este reprezentat platoul ornamental.
Timbrul cu valoarea nominală de 3,50 lei ilustrează suportul grătar.
Timbrul cu valoarea nominală de 4,00 lei ilustrează platoul cu elemente florale.
Platoul cu picior central este reprodus pe timbrul cu valoarea nominală de 15,00 lei și pe timbrul coliței nedantelate a emisiunii de mărci poștale, cu valoarea nominală de 16,00 lei.
Emisiunea de mărci poștale este completată de setul de două plicuri prima zi, iar ca forme de machetare au fost folosite coala de 28 de timbre cu tête-bêche, minicoala de 13 timbre + 2 viniete, minicoala de 8 timbre + 1 vinietă + 6 tabsuri, coliță nedantelată și colița nedantelată specială.
Albumul filatelic este realizat în tiraj limitat de 210 exemplare şi este echipat cu coliţa nedantelată a emisiunii, având ataşată o manşetă ilustrată cu elemente grafice în folio aur şi setul de două plicuri „prima zi”, având ştampila „prima zi” aplicată în clar, în folio aur. Fiecare element este numerotat de la 001 la 210.

Romfilatelia continues the series of Romanian Collections postage stamp issues, this time with topic Plateaus / Trivets (I). The issue consists of six stamps and an imperforated souvenir sheet, on which trivets, a generic name designating the stands with more than three legs, as well as those with one leg and one base, from the 19th-20th centuries are represented. These exhibits belonging to a prestigious collection from Bucharest, the greatest in the world, certified by Guiness World Records, in 2016.
The new issue will be available on Thursday, March 29th, 2018, in Romfilatelia’ own shops network in Bucharest, Bacau, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Iași and Timișoara and online on http://romfilatelia.ro/store/.
Trivets represent those objects that are used to protect surfaces against damages caused by heat, their denomination came from the number of legs, most of them having three. In the beginning, when trivets were used for cooking on open fire, the three legs provided stability on an uneven terrain. Instead, the presence of four or more legs, as well as a single base with one leg, required an straight surface in order, for the object placed on the trivet stay firm and stable.
Depending on the period in which they were used, the role of trivets differed. When cooking evolved from the open space into the enclosed space, trivets were no longer used to prepare food directly on fire, but to protect tables or any other surface from burns, caused by hot objects.
On the stamp with the face value of Lei 2.20, a pressing iron support is represented.
The pressing iron protection is illustrated on the stamp with the face value of Lei 2.50.
The ornamental plateau is represented on the stamp with the face value of Lei 2.70.
The support with grate is reproduced on the stamp with the face value of Lei 3.50.
The plateau with floral motif is illustrated on the stamp with the face value of Lei 4.00.
The plateau with central leg is reproduced on the stamp with the face value of Lei 15.00 and on the stamp of the imperforated souvenir sheet of the issue, with the face value of Lei 16.00.
The postage stamp issue is completed by a set of two First Day Covers, as page composition there were used a sheet of 28 stamps with tête-bêche, a minisheet of 13 stamps + 2 different labels, a minisheet of 8 stamps + 1 label + 6 tabs, an imperforated souvenir sheet and a special imperforated souvenir sheet.
The philatelic album is created into a limited edition of 210 pcs. and is equipped with the imperforated souvenir sheet of the issue, having an illustrated attachment with graphic elements in gold foiling, and the set of two First Day Covers with the “first day” postmark clearly imprinted in gold foiling. Each element is numbered from 001 to 210.
