The Bank of Ukraine issued on August 15, within the series "Heritage of Ukraine" two coins with facials of 5 and 10 hryven minted one in silver nickel and the other in silver of 999, both with the same design, dedicated to The Painted Pottery of Kosiv.
On the back of the coin is a colored image (pad printing) with the image of a rooster and the semicircular inscriptions: KOSOVSKY ROSPIS (above), TARILKA `PIVNIK` (below), on the right and left are the stylized figures of two Roosters
The obverse of the coin shows to the left and right the figure of two children dressed in national costumes, in the center is a sample of Kosiv painted pottery. As is customary in all Ukrainian currencies, the national coat of arms of Ukraine, the year of issue, the face value and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine are also represented.
